College Roomies Reunion

I just returned from a super fun weekend with my college roommates! We knew it would be a quick weekend so we decided we would just go to Raleigh since it was easy for everyone to get to and, well, it's where we went to college!

We kicked off the weekend with a fabulous dinner at Vivace in North Hills. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. We lingered with wine and talked and talked and talked. Saturday was a BUSY day! We had breakfast and then we went to see the new sorority houses and all the changes on campus! The new Greek village is something else! Those girls are lucky! After a quick lunch we spent the afternoon shopping in North Hills. I haven't done much live shopping since Covid so it was super fun to browse and try on and add some great additions to my closet! Once we wrapped up our shopping, we headed to the iconic Angus Barn for dinner. It hasn't changed since I was a little girl. Such a neat place!

We all headed out early on Sunday. As I drove home, I just thought about how blessed I am to have these girls in my life. We don't have to talk daily (although someone usually sends something daily in our group text) and can just pick right up where we left off. We have been there for each other through good times and hard times. I can't imagine a more supportive group of friends. Not everyone has friends like that and I truly cherish these girls and our relationship. Make time for your true girlfriends. These are lifetime friendships that bring us more joy than we even realize sometimes!
